Welcome to Obstetrics! This course was my absolute favorite and if you are at all interested in caring for newborns and mothers, this is the profession for you. Get ready to learn the ins and outs of what it means to be an Antepartum, L&D, and Postpartum nurse in this course. Below I have links to my notes, quizlets, and other resources that helped me earn an A in the class. Good luck :)
**My nursing notes: Check out my Google drive that holds all of my nursing notes from this course with practice exam questions, course information breakdowns, and more!!
Resources:
Fetal Heart Rate Tone Monitoring Decelerations | Early, Late, Variable NCLEX OB Maternity Nursing
Preeclampsia (Eclampsia) in Pregnancy Nursing Review: Pathophysiology, Symptoms, NCLEX
Infant Developmental Milestones Mnemonic Pediatric Nursing NCLEX Review
LEOPOLD'S MANEUVERS: The Leopold Maneuver is an abdominal palpation assessment which is performed to determine what fetal part is in the uterine fundus, the location of the fetal back, and what is the presenting fetal part. Overall, this is important because it helps determine the position of the fetus and the shape of the maternal pelvis can indicate whether the delivery is going to be complicated, or whether a caesarean section will be necessary.

I hope these mnemonics help you! Check out the "my nursing notes" Google drive above for more mnemonics :)
